The subject of artist Lee Eun-woo's work is 'jelly'. The colorful colors and soft texture of jelly came to the artist as a strong attraction, and she thought that she wanted to spread her own world on canvas using these jellies. While thinking about how to draw a world made of jelly, she thought that the word island fits well with the bar she was looking for, so she combined ‘jelly’ and ‘island’ and the present Jelly Island was born.
